However, there are few journalists covering the “pet industry beat.” From issues surrounding government regulations of the industry to the business financials of giant corporate entities providing for pet care, consumers regularly encounter a void of information. Trying to fill that reporting void is The Canine Review.

Emily Brill is the founder and executive editor of The Canine Review, an online news service providing dog owners, animal health professionals and industry stakeholders with original and independent reporting about the pet industry. While the enterprise reporting and features in The Canine Review are obviously focused on dogs, the companies and government entities involved span the entirety of the pet industry.
