The need for a reminder system to keep owners in the loop about their pets’ needs as well as the ever-growing demand of pet owners to have quick and reliable information at their fingertips led us to consider new ways that we could make that happen. We asked ourselves three questions:
- How can we make it easier and more convenient for our clients to contact us?
- How can our clients have access to important reminder information when we are away from the office?
- How can we show our clients that we appreciate them?

Pet reminders are accessible 24/7, so clients never again have to wonder when they are due for services; plus, they can immediately view vaccination records instead of waiting for the dreaded fax to come through. Clients can email vaccination records directly from the app to their groomer or dog sitter themselves, saving time and additional phone calls to the vet office.
Finally, it was important to us to show our clients that we truly appreciate them choosing us as their partner in veterinary care. What better way to do this than a rewards program? We call our rewards program the “Critter Care Club.” Pet Desk app users earn two “Care Coins” for every dollar they spend at our clinic. The points are added to the Pet Desk app automatically and can be used for discounts and even free services like a nail trim or an exam.
