This is our vet for all our animals. They take great care of all of them (3 guinea pigs, 1 Senior cat, and one GSD). They have been absolutely amazing since they cared for our first pets (2 hamsters) that passed away as seniors. I will never take my animals anywhere else. ❤️

I absolutely adore Dr. Nunnery and Yousef, although all the employees have always given excellent care to my boys. Two big German Shepherds can be A LOT, but they get right in the mix with them; they read their ‘language’ well.

I was super nervous to bring my dog Bear to the vet. He is a great dog but he does not like other dogs. The staff made sure to communicate when another animal was coming through the office and let Bear go to the back while the other dog left. Also, I was only in the office to check-in for a minute while they weighed him, so they do keep the office clear. Bear loves the cheese and whip cream they give him to make him less stressed during shots and nail trims. I highly recommend anyone here. The staff is great and very friendly. Dr. Shirley is great and never seems rushed. They answered any questions I had. I will definitely continue going here.

Very happy with Family Pet Health, PLLC! Everybody was more than happy to answer any questions I had. I never felt rushed. My dog adored everybody thanks to them each taking the time to say hi to her. Their prices are very reasonable. Can’t say enough about this vet!!! Every single person I spoke with was very nice, from calling the office to coming in. The receptionist very helpful & the vet was very sweet. They continued the courtesy after my visit as well & sent a card for my pet from all the staff with the nicest little notes! I’m switching my other pets to this vet as well!!

We’ve consistently had a positive experience at Family Pet Health. We’ve always brought our four guinea pigs here, never trusting any other exotic vet in Murfreesboro. Dr. Shirley is always very thorough and very considerate, taking the time to answer our questions and make sure we’re all on the same page. Calls made to the office regarding questions are always returned promptly, and after our guinea pig was seen for an illness, they called to see how she was responding to treatment. When our guinea pig had to be euthanized, everyone at the office was extremely kind. When we retrieved her ashes, we found that they had cut off some of our guinea pig’s hair for us to keep, and later we received a sympathy card with handwritten messages from those at the office. During the euthanization itself, Dr. Shirley was very kind and compassionate toward us and our guinea pig, giving us as much time as we needed with her and being sure to explain everything that would happen. The thoughtfulness of everyone involved has meant the world to us, and we’ll never take our pets anywhere else.

I can’t say enough good things about this place!! Special shout out to Dr. Nunnery, who in my opinion, has gone above and beyond in taking care of my dog’s (Margie) issues. Dr. Nunnery makes you feel like your pet is her only patient. All the staff is amazing as well. Do not think twice about bringing your precious pet here, they will be in the best of hands.

Great hospital with a wonderful staff. My cat was seen by Dr. Amy Shirley and my dog was seen by Dr. Sam Nieves. Both doctors were caring, listened to my concerns, and had great bedside manner. The techs and the receptionists are professional and helpful. I love that the whole staff is Fear Free Certified. It makes such a huge difference when you have a pet with a behavior disorder. Anybody with a reactive and/or fearful pet knows how upsetting it can be when the veterinary staff doesn’t take their behavioral issues seriously. I love that they do everything in the room with the pet parent (unless it’s something that has to be done in the back, like X-rays) and that they feed the pets treats throughout the exam to make it a pleasant experience. They also take extra precaution to make sure the lobby is clear before you bring your pet in, that way if your pet is reactive, you can safely bring them in. I thought their services were very reasonably priced and they make sure to give you the cost of any treatment before it is performed.

I cannot say enough good things about this practice! My dog is my baby and it takes a lot for me to have full confidence and trust when it comes to her and her care. The entire team at Family Pet Health has exceeded the expectations I had and has really raised the bar in the care of pets as well as pet owners! Great place !! located in an older building/house but very nice. You really get a good vibe from the place and employees. Your pet never leaves the room. They come in and do everything right there in the room with you,. Shots, cleaning, etc. Been going to Vets for the past 40 years and this one is in the top 3 I have ever visited !!!! They even helped me figure out the cost to fit within my budget.

Last night, we had a pet emergency. My wife called and spoke with Michael. He was very helpful and gave us options to get our Sugar Glider taken care of. Today we took our healthy glider in for a check-up. Dr. Shirley was wonderful. She spent quite a bit of time making sure all of our concerns were addressed. After the appointment, Michael took us through the office and described the “fear free” approach to animal care they were working toward. Over the years, my family has used several vets to care for our fur family. Michael, Dr. Shirley, and the entire staff more than exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend Family Pet Health!
